Super heavy weights activated: Boop!
...And how did THIS abomination of an environment come to pass? Salada stood atop one of the many rocky pillars that protruded up from the "Gizzard" Wasteland like the jagged fangs of a massive animal, overlooking a relatively flat and relatively DEAD stony-desert landscape. She could only guess that this place had been the seat of a massive riverbed or sea of some kind and that these pillars were all that were left of islands from the time. It was also possible that great winds had once blown through here, shaving down what were once mighty mountains into literal fragments of their former selves too, she supposed...
...Either way, this was easily the best of the two core wastelands this planet sported... At least this one didn't have so much SAND. Out of all landscapes... from the Arctic, to the Urban, Salada HATED deserts/desert-like wastelands the most. It was course, rough, and GOT EVERYWHERE from under her armor, somehow, to into her hair and was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get out all the way in one washing! When one was trained to wage war in infinitely varied environments, one comes to have favorites and... non-favorites. Salada... had chosen hers.
...But why was she out here? Why wasn't she with the humans, trying to make the Saiyans look good and all that jazz? Wasn't that part of her mission? ...Yes, but Salada wasn't ready to go back to it yet. She didn't have the headspace for... negotiation right now, what with it being filled up with thoughts of that Opherla-creature, Liek and... yes, even Jarehd. She felt so... weak, so fragile... EVEN HER OWN SUBORDINATE WAS CATCHING UP TO HER! What was UP with this planet!? HOW WAS IT THAT EVERYTHING SEEMED TO BE GETTING STRONGER FASTER HERE EXCEPT FOR HERSELF!? Salada growled angrily and shook her head, using every OUNCE of her restraint not to level this place fully. What was she doing wrong? WHY could even Jarehd, a guy who couldn't even crack a power level of 3000, suddenly competing with her MORE THEN RESPECTABLE 15,000!? WHY were these humans, these pathetic RUNTS and their alien pets able to CLIMB to heights Salada hadn't even thought were possible!?
...And how in the HELL did they manage to get a LEGENDARY SUPER SAIYAN, a TESTAMENT to a Saiyan's POWER, RUTHELESSNESS, AND PRIDE... looking over them and PROTECTING THEM!? IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE! It was as if everyone in the world knew something she didn't and were ALL TOO EAGER to keep it from her. Why not shame the Saiyan punching-ba- REPRESENTATIVE a little bit more? After all, what was she going to do about it? Salada gritted her teeth, her anger BURNING out of her in the form of her aura, sanguine energy FLARING around her as if she were suddenly set alight! The very EXISTANCE of these... these MUTANTS were an insult to her honor... especially... ESPECIALLY Opherla!
"Opherla...." She growled under her breath, her fists clenching so tight, the tips nearly DUG through the elastic! "...One day... ONE DAY soon... I'll surpass you... and then... I'll embarrass you... I will! And then, your little FRIEND will be NEXT!"

Callion stood atop a rocky outcrop on the outskirts of the Gizzard Wastelands, his long, lion mane raven hair ruffled by the wind as he scanned the horizon. His intense training regimen had brought him to this remote, blistering hot corner of the planet, seeking solace and strength amidst the void left by the devastation of Namek and Vegeta. His senses, sharpened through endless battles and meditation, tingled with an unfamiliar energy.
In the distance, a figure emerged, silhouetted against the reddening sky. As she drew nearer due to Callion deciding to fly in the air, Callion's eyes widened in astonishment. A female pure-blooded Saiyan, a sight he hadn't encountered in what felt like an eternity. Her aura was unmistakable, a blend of strength and grace that resonated with his own warrior spirit. Callion descended gracefully from the sky, the rocky expanse of the Gizzard Wasteland greeting his arrival. With a gentle touch, his boots landed upon the rugged terrain, blending seamlessly into the desolate landscape. Observing from a distance, he couldn't help but notice the female Saiyan, her presence marked by an aura seething with anger and frustration.
"Looks like you're having a bad time as well, huh kinswoman?" His voice, tinged with empathy, reached out to her, resonating with a quiet understanding of the struggles she bore.
Seated atop a massive boulder, his arms folded across his chest, he continued, "You look strong woman, a true Saiyan woman through and through the likes of what I havn’t seen in a very long time. Rather comforting that is."
There was a silence, a moment where the winds whispered through the jagged formations, carrying the echo of his words. His eyes, filled with a sense of shared ancestry, watched her, waiting for her response, hoping to bridge the chasm of isolation that seemed to engulf them both. In the turbulence of their universe, marred by the annihilation of their homes, he sought connection. His heart, burdened by the echoes of lost civilizations and fractured destinies, yearned for the solidarity that only one of their own kind could provide.
"Alright. I’ve made up my mind. I want to fight you now," he continued, his gaze unwavering, clicking his neck from side to side as he jumped down from the boulder, immediately wanting to fight this fellow Saiyan just to blow off some steam. "I could use blowing off some steam today. So, lets go, right now. Fight me with all you have, and don’t you dare hold back woman."
There was an unspoken invitation in his words, a plea for thrill and battle, his eyes gleamed for a fight, embracing more and more of his Saiyan nature infront of this woman, and by Kami one way or another he was going to test her just to see what she is capable of. Callion had no patience for his usual routine, and he was out for battle only to get stronger and even more powerful than he currently is right now, and by god, for once, he was going to have his way this time.

Salada whirled around the moment Callion's voice touched her ears. For a moment, she had thought it was Jarehd, ready to flaunt that new ego and power he'd gotten again. After all, what other pure-blooded Saiyans were there on this planet!? ...Apparently ones that dress like paupers. Standing before her was a... rather LARGE Saiyan male with hair like hers: long and erratic... but not quite as curly. He looked at her with a curious hunger in his eyes, one that only a true warrior could share with another. Despite his ridiculous clothing, Salada MAY have been able to take comfort in the fact that there were actual TRUE SAIYAN WARRIORS here on Earth. At least with THEM, she wouldn't be surrounded by total softies and weaklings, their squishiness of both heart and body potentially infecting HEER as well!
...She might've been able to take comfort in all of that... Had it not been for how Callion spoke. Salada's face turned sour as the man addressed her, remarking how warm and fuzzy inside it made him feel to see that he wasn't the only Saiyan on this dirt-ball, how he noticed how mad she was and wanted to help! Salada stared at him, her anger... and now revoltion falling upon the monk-monkey. Why was he talking like that? What the hell was UP with him? A quick scan of the stranger indicated that there wasn't an OUNCE of weakness to speak of. His body was a lethal weapon, both forged to be as strong as the most godly of metals... and as graceful and fluid as the four winds. In any other circumstance, minus the outfit, she would have seen him as a MODEL Saiyan, something any fighter worth her salt would look up to with pride. ...Then he spoke... and he sounded so...
HUMAN.
"...Don't come over here and start talking all soft, kinsman." Salada spat, obviously turning her brooding on him! "What the hell do you want with me, anyway?" ...Apparently, it was to fight because the man would say just that! Hopping down from his own perch, he invited Salada to join him in battle, perhaps blow off whatever steam was building up in her head! ...And he said it like a Saiyan would, asserting that THIS was how it was going to be and that Salada REALLY didn't have a choice. ...What a perplexing man he was, wasn't he? Still, Salada couldn't hide the smirk spreading across her face.
"Fine." Salada grunted, dropping down to ground-level along with Callion. "Let's GO." The moment her foot touched the ground, she LUNGED at the monk, throwing a punch DEAD-CENTER at his forehead before bringing her knee up to STRIKE him in the stomach! If both strikes connected, Salada would move to make a third, SWINGING her arms down in a sledgehammer strike upon the back of Callion's neck, aiming to SLAM him to the ground!

Callion watched as Salada's expression turned sour, her demeanour shifting into a mix of anger and disgust as he extended his offer of understanding and camaraderie. The Saiyan's serene expression barely flickered a he had hoped for a moment of connection, a bridge between their shared heritage, but her reaction was a stark reminder of the walls erected around her. His resolve remained unshaken as she launched into an assault, her strikes swift and precise. The impact of her punch against his forehead sent a resonating shock through his body, followed by a sharp hit to his stomach. With each blow, he absorbed the force, his body tensing against the strikes that would have rendered a lesser warrior incapacitated.
The tension thickened as her resentment emanated like a tempest, and then, as if affirming her disdain for pleasantries, she lunged at him without hesitation. Her strikes were swift, her movements honed by the ferocity of a warrior unchained. As Salada aimed a third strike at his neck, Callion, repressing his power to a fraction of its capacity, allowed himself to be driven to the ground. The impact sent tremors through the rocky landscape, the ground cracking beneath them.
In that moment, a flicker of impressed surprise crossed Callion's eyes. Her ferocity was undeniable, her blows carrying the raw power of a Saiyan warrior honed in battle. With a swift and almost poetic descent, Salada closed the distance between them, her fist aimed squarely at his forehead. Callion, seemingly calm, allowed the punch to connect, the force rippling through his body. Before he could react, her knee found its mark in his stomach, and a third strike crashed down on the back of his neck, sending him to the rocky ground.
For a moment, Callion remained there, seemingly unaffected. But beneath the surface, he marvelled at Salada's raw power and precision. Suppressing his own strength, he chose to gauge her abilities before revealing the extent of his own. As he started to rise, Salada moved with a speed and ferocity that surprised him. Her leg shot out like a whip, but before it could connect, Callion's tail, long and sinuous like a serpent, snaked around her leg. With a swift motion, he coiled it tightly, lifting her off the ground and slamming her back down with a resounding thud.
"Impressive," he acknowledged, finally revealing a glint of the Saiyan warrior within. As Salada rose, Callion unleashed a burst of energy, a focused Ki blast aimed squarely at her. The shockwave of the blast reverberated through the wasteland, the power dynamic between them shifting as they embarked on this unexpected battle. Callion's smirk crept across his face as he fully rose from the ground, clicking his neck from side to side. The exchange of blows had only fuelled his intrigue, and a spark of amusement danced in his eyes.
"Well done," he complimented, his voice carrying a mixture of respect and curiosity. "You're certainly strong. Either you've been training diligently, or you've found others stronger than you to test your mettle against." As he spoke, he circled Salada, his gaze never leaving her. The battle had become a dance of raw power and skill, and Callion was eager to unravel the mystery of the Saiyan before him.
"I wonder," he continued, a sly grin playing on his lips, "who has been helping you hone that strength? Or perhaps, who has been giving you a run for your money?" The wasteland echoed with the tension of their confrontation, and Callion remained ready, his senses attuned to every nuance of Salada's movements. The battle had become a dance, and the rhythm of their clashes was yet to find its resolution.

BAM! BAM! BAM!
Each blow connected SOLIDLY with the strangely-dressed Saiyan, SMACKING him down to the ground with little, if ANY resistance! Salada stood over the stranger, an arrogant smirk arching across her face, having shown him who's boss! If there was one thing Saiyans enjoyed more than fighting itself, it was putting someone in their place. This guy came out of nowhere dressed like some kind of vagabond, challenged her to a fight and was now getting ROCKED for it! There was very little more satisfying than a challenger realizing JUST HOW MUCH they messed up when fighting a TRUE Saiyan like her! Salada stood over Callion, extending a hand down so that her palm pointed down at the monk.
"How was THAT, kinsman?" Salada boasted, already assured of her victory! "Are you done alreaa.....AAAAH!" Suddenly, something SNAKED around her leg and, with force never-before-felt by the Saiyan, SLAMMED HER INTO THE GROUND besides CALLION! Salada COUGHED, a light line of red rolling down the corner of her mouth as the ground EXPLODED beneath her, the Saiyan staring up a the sky... completely discombobulated and confused! ...What... was that...? Even thinking those words, in her state, was a difficult task. They came to her quiet, almost faintly as if whispered, her eyes rapidly blinking the stars out of them as she stared up into Earth's endless blue sky! ...Was that... his TAIL!? Salada glanced back at Callion, watching as the Saiyan's tail looped back around his waist... It WAS but... How was it so... STRONG!? Salada slowly climbed back to her feet, shaking the last few kinks out of her head... only for it to nearly be shot off by an energy blast! Much to the Saiyan's chagrin, she let out an instinctive YELP and DUCKED to the side, using her hands to further guide the blast away from herself and only just BARELY managed to redirect the force! She looked on as the energy-wave flew off over the distance, her jaw hanging slightly agape in shock at just how much POWER resided within that seemingly pedestrian blast! She then turned back to Callion, her expression still embodying the term "flabbergasted" as he, in turn, complimented her on her speed!
"'Impressive!?'" Salada sputtered, a mix of confusion, anger, and surprise all coming out equally in her voice! "What the hell was THAT!?" She pointed at the blast that had LONG since zipped out of view! "How the hell... What even ARE you!?" Whether or not Callion responded, he WOULD compliment Salada on her ability to cope with such an attack, musing that it was either her training, OR her recent run-ins with stronger opponents that allowed her to defend herself as well as she had! Salada only stared at the man and shook her head slowly, completely uncertain how to respond to that! Was he playing with her? Was he being genuine? Should she feel INSULTED or just... humbled? So many things were going through her head right now, Salada wasn't even able to ORGANIZE them all, let alone make sense of them!
"Uh... Sure." Salada eventually decided. When all else failed, neutral was the way to go. Callion, however, wanted to know more. WHO WAS IT that helped her get this strong? WHO WAS IT that made it possible to do what she did? AH, and there it was: Callion ASSUMED Salada hadn't reached this level of strength on her own! Salada's eyes narrowed at the monk-monkey, her lips parting into a snarl.
"ME, that's who." Salada growled, jabbing a thumb in her own direction. "I got this strong on my OWN. I don't need ANYONE'S help!" ...Strong words for someone laid out on their ass but a moment ago... but such as Saiyan pride, however...

"Ten blows," Callion echoed, his voice carrying a calm determination despite the chaos surrounding them. He observed Salada, a faint smirk tugging at the corners of his lips as he prepared himself for the challenge. "If you can land ten blows on me, I'll tell you who I am and more," Callion declared, his voice calm yet carrying a hint of challenge.
Without waiting for a response, he shifted into a defensive stance, ready to showcase his signature fighting style. Callion moved with a fluidity that defied the chaotic nature of their surroundings. His movements were precise, a dance of martial prowess designed to exploit openings and disrupt his opponent's rhythm. It is with this agility and precision that aided the befitted seasoned warrior, Callion engaged in a dance of combat, his movements a fusion of grace and calculated strikes. His fighting style, honed through years of discipline and training, allowed him to close the distance between them swiftly. He darted around Salada, each movement a calculated step in his plan.
Swiftly, he executed a series of strikes, aiming to test her reflexes, her defence, and her resilience. His blows were measured, a blend of speed and accuracy meant to challenge her without overwhelming her entirely. A few landed, his movements a blur as he maneuverer around her. Despite the controlled nature of their exchange, Callion's strikes carried the weight of his Saiyan strength. A calculated jab here, a sweeping kick there – a showcase of the finesse and power he possessed. In the midst of the exchange, he aimed to gauge her adaptability and endurance.
With a calculated strike, Callion sent Salada hurtling towards a solid rock foundation, aiming to gauge her ability to recover and continue the fight. His intention wasn't to harm her severely but to test her resolve, to see if she could rise from the challenge he presented. As she landed, the dust settling around her, Callion observed with a sense of curiosity and respect. He awaited her response, eager to see if she would rise to the challenge and continue their exchange.
Callion stood steadfast, his arms folded across his chest as he watched Salada amidst the debris, waiting for her to rise. His demeanour remained calm and composed, a tranquil presence amidst the chaos of their battle. The wasteland echoed with the aftermath of their clash, the remnants of their power resonating through the rocky terrain. Amidst the scattered rubble and rock debris, Salada's resilience was put to the test.
He observed her, unwavering in his demeanour, his gaze fixed on her figure amidst the shattered foundation. Callion had dealt a substantial blow, yet he awaited her next move with a sense of respect for her endurance and tenacity. The moments passed, and Salada slowly emerged from the wreckage, her determination evident as she rose from the debris. Callion remained silent, his eyes locked on her, curious to see how she would respond after enduring such a forceful strike.
"Get up, woman," Callion called out calmly yet firmly, his voice cutting through the remnants of the debris. His voice cut through the silence of the wasteland, reaching Salada as she stirred amidst the rubble. His tone, calm and resolute, held a hint of assertion. "Just because I've spent time on Earth doesn't make me any less tough." His words carried a subtle challenge, a reminder that his experience on this planet hadn't dulled his Saiyan spirit or his prowess in combat. The invitation to continue the sparring match lingered in the air, an unspoken determination to test each other's limits. With his arms still folded, Callion awaited Salada's response, his stance poised and his gaze steady, prepared for the continuation of their intense exchange.

"T-Ten...?" Salada muttered, caught off guard. Was... was he testing her? Why!? WEREN'T THEY ALREADY FIGHTING!? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF HIDING INFORMATION LIKE THAT!? The Saiyan warrior FUMED at Callion, ENRAGED by his little games! They were WARRIORS! They shouldn't be afraid to hide anything from one another! ...Or was there another reason he was doing this? Was he PLAYING with her? Was this fight some kind of JOKE to him!? WHO DID HE THINK HE WAS DEALING WITH!? SHE WAS SALADA, WARRIOR OF THE SAIYAN EMPIRE! SHE WAS NO TOY TO BE THROWN AROUND!
"Don't TOY with me, you bastard!" Salada RUMBLED, her aura FLARING with the tone of her voice! "I don't know WHO you are and I don't CARE anymore, either! I'm gonna ENJOY beating you back to the stone age!" ...Well, however Callion took it, he came at Salada like a monster from HELL! ...A very precise, very deliberate, very POWERFUL monster. Salada did her best to redirect the monk's blows at first, but she quickly found THAT to be futile! It was like trying to move a planet, those limbs! She found herself overpowered- no... OUTCLASSED in matters of raw strength, unable to even BUDGE Callion's punches, let alone SHOVE them out of their intended path! More than once, Salada had been THROWN to the ground, hard, her face, her ARMOR growing more scuffed and damaged with each impact... but she kept getting up. Regardless of Callion's superior might, that wouldn't stop her from bouncing back! A real warrior would never give up... NEVER! Not even when their chances of success were less than ZERO! Salada quickly changed up her tactics. If she couldn't approach Callion from the front and PUSH through his offense, she would instead move HERSELF! Taking a different approach, Salada forsook blocking and deflecting attacks entirely, instead slipping around Callion's attacks as best she could! It wasn't perfect, sometimes she was still thrown to the ground... but at LEAST she wasn't being struck as often!
"Shut up...." Salada grunted, climbing up to her feet once more. "...You come here... You pester me into a fight... And now you're going to tell ME how to fight it!?" Salada clenched her fingers into fists, her eyes glaring resentfully up at Callion. "You are a FOOL if you think I'm going to let you get away with this... NOBODY MAKES A MOCKERY OF ME!"
...And now it was Salada's turn to take the offense! She started... by extending her hand at the Saiyan and firing a massive red energy-beam! She would then SHOOT off the side and fire MORE in quick succession, circling Callion as she did so to create a WHEEL of energy-waves slamming into him from all directions! She would then SHOOT above him and throw a MASSIVE energy-sphere down upon him from above before, once more, disappearing with sheer speed! As Callion dealt with the sphere, Salada would suddenly DASH at him from below, SWINGING her foot up to SMASH into his lower stomach from below!

Callion observed Salada's frustration and defiance, his calm exterior contrasting with her seething anger. He continued his onslaught, precise and powerful blows connecting with the Saiyan warrior. The sound of their clash echoed through the desolate landscape, the very ground bearing witness to the intensity of their battle. He witnessed firsthand Salada unleashing her furious assault, Callion faced the barrage head-on. The intensity of her attacks reverberated through the wasteland, each strike a testament to her relentless determination. He took the brunt of her energy beams and onslaught of strikes, her fury unleashed upon him. As Salada adjusted her tactics, slipping around his attacks rather than trying to oppose them head-on, Callion maintained his calculated assault. Her resilience impressed him, her determination evident in her refusal to stay down despite the overwhelming force he exerted. Despite the onslaught, Callion maintained his calm demeanour, enduring blow after blow as Salada pressed forward with unyielding ferocity. Her words echoed around him, the frustration and anger palpable in her voice. Callion focused, feeling the energy coursing within him. It wasn't about counting blows anymore; it was about understanding the depth of her spirit, her unyielding will to prove her worth as a Saiyan warrior. With a surge of power, his energy flared, surrounding him in an ethereal aura. Callion, though silent, acknowledged her resolve. However, he was not just here to mock or toy with her. He sought to understand her strength, to test the mettle of another Saiyan who traversed the same chaotic path as he did. Salada unleashed a barrage of energy attacks, creating a chaotic dance of crimson waves that circled around Callion. The sheer force and speed of her assault kept him on the defensive, evading as best he could. The energy-sphere descended upon him, and he braced himself, absorbing the impact. “Hmm… I think that was ten blows… I think? Alright then, lets give her that winner’s prize.”Just as Salada dashed at him from below, aiming a powerful kick at his lower stomach, Callion's aura erupted with an intense golden glow. In an instant, the air around him crackled with energy as he transformed into a Super Saiyan before her eyes. The sheer explosive force radiating from his transformed state blew her away, sending shockwaves through the wasteland. As the transformation took hold, Callion's aura exploded into a radiant blaze, engulfing him in a whirlwind of energy. The once calm and collected Saiyan now radiated an intense power, his very presence resonating with an otherworldly aura. In his Super Saiyan form, Callion's hair transformed into a lustrous platinum-golden blonde, cascading around him in a dazzling display. Each strand seemed to carry its own ethereal glow, reflecting the raw might pulsating through him. His eyes, now a striking crimson red, blazed with an unfathomable intensity, radiating a fiery determination that cut through the wasteland's desolation. The golden aura surrounding him crackled with an otherworldly energy, swirling and dancing around his form in a mesmerizing display. His muscles, accentuated by the transformation, exuded an unparalleled strength and power. Callion stood, a vision of Super Saiyan might, his aura pulsating with an immense, barely-contained energy. The transformation had elevated him to a new level of strength, the sheer intensity of his presence commanding respect and awe. With the transformation complete, Callion awaited Salada's reaction, his gaze fixed upon her amidst the chaos of their battle. “You have earnt your information. I am Callion… The Super Saiyan of Legend.”

In a matter of days, Salada's world was shattered. When she was born on Vegeta, all seemed so certain: She was a Saiyan, the greatest warrior race in the universe. She was a middle-class Saiyan, those destined to command armies and conquer worlds for the Empire. She was a soldier, trained to be the face of their race others would see as they cut them down and grind them underfoot. Her power-level had grown to 15,000, already knocking on the door of the upper echelons of the traditional ranking system of "elites." Salada... was strong. ...But then set-back after set-back... Defeat after defeat... All to Earthlings or squatters on the world. Salada found her whole self-perception and that of her KIN was being challenged with every blast and every punch she threw, with every agonizing night she spent bleeding out on a cobbled-together cot after another disgraceful defeat. Recently, she had discovered that the legendary Super Sayain had returned to their people! He was a half-breed, yes, and even was a squatter on this world... but he WAS real! Salada even had the honor, as much as she resented herself calling it such, of training under him! She was no longer the strongest in the universe, nor was she even sure of the Saiyan Empire was truly as glorious as it made itself out to be, but at LEAST there was hope! ...Then there was this man- No... This LEGEND! Salada was BLOWN back as golden energy EXPLODED around Callion! Even with her new, incredible power, it was still less than nothing in comparison to a Saiyan such as he! Salada FLEW back, SMASHING through at least TWO whole trees before coming to a sudden halt against a third, her head spinning, her vision somewhere between double and triple... but there was no mistaking what she had seen... and heard! Salada's eyes WIDENED as Callion, this turncoat, this... THING... was ANOTHER legendary Super Saiyan!? "B-but... That's... NOT POSSIBLE!" Salada cried in OPEN DEFIANCE of the obvious! "The Legendary Super Saiyan... there's only ONE for every 1000 years! There are...
" ...Salada attempted to rise but her legs could only carry her so far. Whether it was being THROWN THROUGH TREES or the shock of this revelation, Salada fell to her hands and knees, staring up at Callion uncomprehendingly like a child staring up at a GOD. Her eyes blinked rapidly, her jaw dropped nearly to the floor, her mind scrambling to even COMPREHEND what she was seeing! She might've not been able to sense energy... but there was NO missing the signature Callion was setting off. It felt just like... Athren's... "I don't understand..." Salada mumbled, shaking her head. "How can this be...!? Why!? WHY ARE THERE TWO...!? ON EARTH OF ALL PLACES!?"WC: 463 TWC: 2621

Callion observed Salada's reaction with a mixture of empathy and understanding. He could sense the conflict within her, the shattered certainties and the weight of the revelations that threatened to redefine her very identity. As she struggled to comprehend the existence of another legendary Super Saiyan, he walked over to her, his Super Saiyan form maintained effortlessly.
With a calm demeanor, Callion approached Salada, his golden aura now subdued but retaining its majestic presence. He knelt down beside her, extending a hand in an offer to help her up. "Alright... How about we take a small break?" Callion offered, extending a hand to help her up. His voice was calm and soothing, a stark contrast to the intensity of their earlier clash. "Let's just say a lot has happened on Earth and across the Galaxy... Even now, I am preparing for a monstrous force that is making his way to this very planet, a force that even overpowers myself and a hybrid by the name of Athren."
Callion gestured toward nearby large rocks, his ki energy effortlessly lifting them into suitable seats. He settled onto one, leaving another for Salada, offering her a chance to collect herself. He gestured toward the floating rocks, creating makeshift chairs for both of them. "But let's focus on this right now. Why don't you start in telling me the Super Saiyan Legend of our people in its entirety?"
Callion's demeanor, despite the legendary power he now possessed, radiated a sense of stability and control. As Salada took a seat, he awaited her words, the weight of their shared heritage bridging the gap between them in this unexpected moment of reflection. His words were gentle, an invitation for Salada to share her knowledge and experiences, fostering a sense of mutual understanding amidst the tumultuous revelations that had unfolded.
Callion, seated on the rock, observed Salada with a measured gaze as she processed the information. When she questioned the existence of two legendary Super Saiyans on Earth, Callion was already prepared for the inquiry. He paused for a moment before responding. "What do you know about our own people's history?" Callion queried, his voice soft yet tinged with a hint of curiosity. He settled himself on the rock, his gaze fixed on Salada, awaiting her response.
Unbeknownst to Salada, Callion had been away from Planet Vegeta ever since he was a baby during the upheaval of the Coup. His knowledge of their people's legacy was fragmented, pieced together through whispers, stories, and sporadic recollections rather than firsthand experience.
As the silence lingered between them, Callion realized that his question might have carried more weight than intended. He extended an understanding glance toward Salada, trying to convey that he didn't intend to unsettle her further.
"I apologize if that sounded harsh, and you’re no doubt going to ask, ‘Why don’t you know your own race’s history, don’t you have a sense of pride!?’" Callion said, his tone softening after he made a classic Saiyan mocking voice remark. "I've been away for quite some time… In fact, I was away from Planet Vegeta as a baby when the Coup happened. My understanding of our history is... incomplete, to say the least." He leaned back slightly, a gesture to alleviate any discomfort lingering in the air. Despite his incomplete knowledge, he held an earnest curiosity about their shared heritage and hoped Salada might enlighten him.
"Would you mind sharing what you know? Let me experience the history from your eyes." he gently prompted, seeking to bridge the gap between their differing perspectives on the Saiyan legacy. "Oh, and while you are, may I ask to borrow your scouter if you have one? I'd like to read your powerlevel."

Callion's offer of a "break" didn't exactly register with Salada immediately. She was too busy GAWKING over the fact that the legend, their STORY of their savior... was wrong. Well, not only was it WRONG, but there were TWO Saiyans that had achieved that power, not only ONE! ...And they all seemed to be Earth-based... Two golden-haired Saiyans on this planet... that COULDN'T have ben a coincidence. What was it about this place? The water? The food? The AIR!? What did it have that Planet Vegeta didn't!? WHY was everyone here such a MONSTER compared to herself!? She didn't UNDERSTAND! Salada snapped back into reality only when Callion extended his hand, offering her help to stand. She stared at it, still in awe of the golden energy radiating of it... and spiteful that he thought she needed it!
...After a moment, Salada would rise to her feet on her own, ignoring Callion's gesture of good will. He MIGHT'VE been a Super Saiyan, but she STILL didn't need his help. There was something going on here, something on this planet that was creating Super Saiyans... there had to be... so what WAS IT!? Whatever it was, Salada was going to take it for herself without becoming HUMAN-like! What struck her as even MORE odd was that THIS Super Saiyan didn't even seem to KNOW the legend from which his power was prophesized! He was asking HER to explain it to him! Salada stared at Callion in utter disbelief, her expression a mix of confusion... and utter shock. She couldn't believe this was happening right now... It had to be some kind of DREAM right? Their savior- ...A savior didn't know about the Super Saiyan legend!? ...She gritted her teeth and swallowed her pride before she said something that might get her KILLED. ...He wanted to know of his origin...? FINE, she would tell him.
"The Super Saiyan is supposed to be born once every 1000 years." Salada began. "His power is so great that he couldn't handle it in his base form and had to transform into a Great Ape in order to contain it... though different tellings say otherwise. He is the epitome of a Saiyan's greatest traits: A warrior without equal, ruthless, a TRUE warrior. It is said that HE would herald a new age that would lead our people to victory!" Salada paused, remembering how the Super Saiyan is supposed to end. "...Eventually, however, his power would grow beyond even what he himself could handle and his own energy would destroy himself. THAT is the legend."
...He would then ask about the history of their people and Salada would once again look at him oddly. Really...? How much was this man missing!?
"...Little is known before 200 years ago." Salada would begin again, thinking back on her lessons. "...Only that our people were wiped out nearly to extinction by... either a meteor or... something else destroying our world. Only a few Saiyans survived, and they went on to found our Empire." ...Salada's jaw clenched as she readied herself to tell of modern events. "King Braccus was our lord until recently. Although he wasn't nearly as imperialist and battle-hungry as the Saiyans of old, he at least kept us battle-ready, kept us sharp to face potential challengers. Then Zaks came. She defeated Braccus and took the throne, as was her right as a Saiyan... or half-of-one... Her power, they say, was beyond even what our former king could have anticipated and he was defeated soundly... leading us here." She gestured around them, referencing "here" as "now." "...Zaks took over as Queen and things have only continued to degrade. She spends her time here on Earth rather than Vegeta and reformed our world to look more like this one: a planet of softies. She cares nothing for conquest or Saiyan pride... only her own survival, her OWN strength. She is a Queen in title only... but nobody is strong enough to wrestle the throne from her."
Callion would then question if he could borrow a scouter and Salada shook her head, pointing at her ear where one should be!
"...Its destroyed. Some Earthling came by and merely detecting them fried the damn thing. I'm as blind here as you are... but if you want a reading of my power level..." Salada would them offer a smile. She was genuinely proud of her power and she had every right to be! According to the records, her power was enough to make most warriors in the universe shake in their boots! "...15,000. I am knocking on the door of the Super Elite." She proclaimed. "...But why does my power matter? You're the Legendary Super Saiyan."

Callion listened intently as Salada recounted the Super Saiyan legend and the fragmented history of their people. Her surprise at his lack of knowledge about their shared heritage did not go unnoticed, but Callion remained composed, absorbing every detail she provided. The dissonance between the legend he had grown up with and the reality before him was palpable. As Salada detailed the supposed fate of the Super Saiyan, Callion couldn't help but rub his chin in contemplation.
He nodded thoughtfully at Salada's explanation of the Super Saiyan legend, pondering the discrepancy between the traditional tale and the reality he was experiencing. As she spoke of the history of their people, Callion closed his eyes momentarily, absorbing the implications of what she revealed. "So, the legend speaks of a power so great that it consumes its wielder," he mused, looking at Salada with an analytical gaze. "One wonders how the Super Saiyan back then managed to survive long enough to achieve such a state. Perhaps the Galaxy was a more violent place back then compared to now."
As Salada continued, narrating the recent history of the Saiyan Empire, Callion's expression shifted subtly. The mention of King Braccus, the change in leadership, and the apparent decline of Saiyan values seemed to stir something within him. When Salada spoke of Zaks becoming Queen and her deviation from traditional Saiyan ideals, Callion's eyes narrowed in recognition. "Zaks," Callion echoed her mention of the current Queen, a name that resonated with familiarity. He recalled his previous encounter with the Queen, acknowledging her formidable power firsthand. When Salada disclosed her power level, Callion's gaze sharpened as he met her eyes. He registered her pride and determination, acknowledging her strength with a nod.
"15,000, knocking on the door of the Super Elite," Callion repeated, acknowledging the formidable strength Salada possessed. He mulled over the implications, considering the power dynamics and shifts that had occurred in their absence from Planet Vegeta.
"Zaks... I've met the Queen before," Callion remarked, confirming his acquaintance with the current ruler. He nodded as Salada mentioned Zaks's power level, absorbing the information. His mind raced with possibilities and comparisons. The Galaxy then, during the era of the Super Saiyan legend, might have been a vastly different place compared to the current era. Callion speculated that survival in that violent time might have been what allowed the Super Saiyan of old to ascend to such unparalleled heights of power.
The conversation delved into the complexities of their people's history and the present state of affairs, leaving Callion with a mix of contemplation and concern as he mulled over the newfound information and the challenges they faced. He absorbed the information with a calm manner, taking in the complexities of the current Saiyan situation. The impending threat that he had mentioned earlier hung in the air, and Callion's thoughts seemed to be navigating through the labyrinth of the past and the challenges that lay ahead.
As Callion listened and processed Salada's account of Saiyan history and the Super Saiyan legend, he rubbed his chin thoughtfully. Instinctively, he powered down from his Super Saiyan form to his base form, the golden aura dissipating around him. His gaze fixed on Salada with a serious intent as he began to speak from his own experiences.
"Much of the Super Saiyan legend, as far as I understand, is both partially true and untrue," Callion began, his tone carrying the weight of someone who had lived through varying perspectives of strength. "From what I've experienced, any Saiyan has the latent capability to transform into a Super Saiyan, including yourself. That also goes for Saiyan half-breeds."
He paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing. "In fact, there are two individuals, Liek and Opherla, who are most likely knocking on the door of becoming Super Saiyans themselves… And they’re half-breeds. I wouldn’t be surprised if Liek himself has become a Super Saiyan right now."
Callion's expression became pensive as he delved deeper into his memories, tapping into his instincts and recalling certain details. Callion rubbed his chin, deep in thought, recalling information from his own instincts. He continued, sharing insights that might shed light on the potential within Salada.
"You see, the initial trial of a Super Saiyan, often referred to as a False Super Saiyan, requires a power level of 75,000. Extreme emotions and anger are needed for such a transformation," Callion explained, his eyes locking with Salada's. "It's not just about raw power but also about unlocking the depths of one's emotions and the will to surpass one's limits. That's the true essence of the Super Saiyan."
His words carried a weight of personal experience, as if he had traversed the path of the Super Saiyan himself and now sought to impart that knowledge to Salada. The revelation of Liek and Opherla's potential further emphasized the shared destiny of their race on Earth.

...And like that, another important piece of Salada's life came undone.
She really had no reason to believe what Callion was telling her. After all, he didn't even KNOW of the legend until a second ago and he didn't seem to know ANYTHING about Saiyan culture either! HOW COULD HE possibly speak against that which had been passed down for generations: The legend all Saiyans hope to be!? ...Well, as it turned out, whatever knowledge he had gained here, on this alien dung-hill backwater, made Callion more than confident to go against centuries of history! IN FACT, as the monk had put it, "Super Saiyan" wasn't even that special of a transformation! HELL, it even had STAGES. STAGES! As if the form was something you could TRAIN for, as if it were a... a technique of some kind! ...And yet, that's what Callion had said!
Salada's jaw dropped as Callion explained the rather simple prerequisites to obtaining such a form. She didn't know whether to laugh... cry... or BOIL OVER WITH RAGE at what he was telling her! So... everything she had learned and believed in... it was all a LIE!? One of the small bits of information the Saiyan Empire preserved from 200 years ago was that training wasn't exactly a thing as far as Saiyans were concerned. They were hyped up to believe that they were, already, the ultimate warriors in the universe so what use would they have refining their skills outside of the battlefield? Combine that with a very rigid class-system and a paranoid upper-class that didn't appreciate over-achieving low-class Saiyans and stagnation was RIFE throughout the old Empire. Now, things weren't so... determinist. While initial power-level did determine one's starting point in life, there was more of a meritocratic element that had taken root among the empire, one that embraced improvement and the growth of the individual.
...But to learn that such a legendary transformation WASN'T, in fact, legendary, but something EASILY achieved with that kind of hard work? It struck Salada like a punch to the face! Just power to handle the surge of ki and a trigger like emotions to set it off... Salada shook her head slowly. Surely it couldn't be that easy! SURELY! How could it be!? WHY!? On the one hand, Salada should have been excited. When she proclaimed to Athren that his golden power would be hers, it wasn't just bluster anymore! She really COULD achieve it and now, she even knew how!
...But what was it worth? Yes, her strength would grow but she wouldn't BE a legendary warrior! Salada, even clad in gold, would have it hanging over her head that the Super Saiyan transformation was nothing more than a stepping-stone, a mere legend that could stay in the books because reality... was hardly so grand. She was just... stronger than normal, nothing truly special... Just like Callion... and Athren...
...And Liek. And OPHERLA!
When Callion mentioned them, something... locked inside of Salada. The Monk remarked that it was possible BOTH OF THEM had achieved this transformation by now and that heck, he even expected that they had! Just Saiyan blood, power, and an emotional trigger... Even the Half-breeds were realizing the legend. THIS, Salada could not abide by, not while she yet drew breath. She had been shamed, reduced to a quivering mess and salvation was only mere STRENGTH away! She just needed to run faster, punch harder, reach farther to get it! ...And then bring this knowledge back to the empire. If Super Saiyan was just a regular transformation like the Oozaru were to her people, then the rest of her kin must know of it's ease of access! She would TRANSFORM THE SAIYANS INTO A GOLDEN EMPIRE... but first... Her own strength. Salada took a deep breath and would once again swallow her pride. It was even more of a struggle than when she did so in front of Athren. Salada would straighten her back, look Callion dead in the eye... and then speak to him like a fellow warrior.
"Train me." She demanded, speaking as if she had the authority to command him. "I want this power. I need it. Teach me how."

Callion looked at Salada seriously as she made her demand, her desire for power radiating from her in waves. He folded his arms, meeting her determined gaze with a nod of approval.
"Very well," Callion said, accepting her request without hesitation. He then took a moment to jot down a set of location points, a plan forming in his mind. "At the top northern part of the world, you will find me there. When you are ready," Callion instructed, his tone carrying a sense of anticipation. "I have something special in mind for your training, and trust me, I am very certain you will like it."
With that, Callion handed Salada the coordinates, a promise of growth and power lingering in the air. The journey to master the Super Saiyan transformation had just begun for Salada, and she had found an unexpected guide in The Saiyan Monk. Callion regarded Salada with a stern yet encouraging expression. "Understand this, Salada. This training will be unlike anything you've experienced on Planet Vegeta," he warned. "I expect absolute dedication and obedience. Every command, every instruction, you will follow to the letter if you want to harness the power you seek. What you aim for isn't just strength; it's a transformation, a transcendence." His tone was serious, emphasizing the gravity of the journey she was about to embark upon, very much acting like a drill sergeant. "This path leads to a power that demands discipline and control, not just brute strength. You'll push your limits, break barriers you never thought possible. You will hate me for it, I will push you, and I will keep pushing you to the point that you, like so many, will try to kill me. But it's not just about physical prowess. This is a transformation of the mind, spirit, and body."
Callion's eyes bore into hers, urging her to understand the enormity of what she sought. "The False Super Saiyan form is just the beginning, a pivotal step. To grasp it, you must be ready to dive deeper than ever before. The journey demands sacrifice, effort, and the willingness to embrace change. Are you prepared to commit yourself fully to this path?" Callion stood firm, his gaze fixed ahead as he delivered his final words, not even giving Salada the time to answer his question, almost as though his question beforehand was a more rhetorical form. "If your answer is yes, follow the coordinates on the paper. You'll find me there," he stated, his voice steady and unwavering. Without another word, the Saiyan warrior vanished, leaving Salada standing alone, her thoughts and resolve her only companions.
Left to ponder the gravity of his words and the commitment needed for the training, how does Salada react to Callion's departure? Is she prepared to undertake this intense journey toward unlocking the legendary Super Saiyan transformation?
